Mikayla was born and raised in Harford County and is a proud CMW alumna! She graduated from Salisbury University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. While at Salisbury, Mikayla stayed busy as an Orientation Leader, campus tour guide, and barista—experiences that helped her discover just how much she enjoys connecting with and supporting students.

Mikayla joined the HCC family in 2023, where she focuses on helping dual-enrollment and incoming students feel welcomed, supported, and confident as they begin their college journey. If students have questions about college life, academics, or simply want to talk through what comes next, Mikayla is always happy to chat. She especially loves helping students discover the opportunities and unique sense of community that Harford brings.

Her biggest message to new students is simple: you don’t need to have your entire future figured out right after high school. College is a time to explore, try new things, discover your interests, and take advantage of new opportunities!
